The first working week of January is almost over after a well-deserved vacation (if I say so myself 😉), so it's time to pick up the reviewing again! And this Arran 21 is one of the whiskies coming soon. I'm looking forward to tasting this one, as I've been discovering Arran more and more lately, and I like it quite a bit so far. What is your opinion on Arran?

And here are my tasting notes from the last two of the Diageo Special Releases 2022 series. ⁠
This Arran 2009 from Gordon & MacPhail, just like the Talisker 18, was also part of the family tasting a few weeks ago and came out as the second most popular that you would most like to have reviewed first. So as promised, here it is. :-) ⁠
Back to the Special Releases with this 12 year old Clynelish. I'm a fan of the distillery, so I was looking forward to tasting it. It first had the normal maturation in ex-bourbon casks, after which it was finished in PX and Oloroso casks. This one is bottled at a strength of 58.5% ABV. So let’s see what this one has to say.
